Future
Goals year 3
- I am going to continue reading English books for 15 minutes each day to improve my vocabulary and become better at communicating with my group, giving pitches and writing in general. I want to read self-improvement book to learn more about myself and my strengths and weaknesses, so I can improve them and use them to my advantage. Besides, I want to read more about psychology and human behaviour to work towards my vision.
- I want to continue making weekly plannings to keep up with all my homework and deadlines. And I want to catch up as soon as possible if I fall behind due to circumstances.
- I want to keep a weekly diary with what I did, learned and my key take aways. This will help me to track my progress and to be able to reflect better, since I noticed that I still struggle a lot with writing good reflections. I want to be more critical in my reflections.
- I want to attend two Studium Generale ITEC activities to have completed the five required activities for the bachelor.
- In Q1 of my third year I want to find companies that I am interested in for my internship in year 4. Together with this I want to have created a profile that I can share with these companies.
- In Q2 I want to start reaching out to at least 3 companies to find a place to start the internship.
Bachelor year 3
In the third year of my bachelor, I will be doing a lot of electives. I have decided to also do the ITEC course and elective that are originally in the last year of the bachelor program, in my third year. For the electives, I want to develop in the expertise areas of Business & Entrepreneurship, Technology & Realisation, because I have not developed these expertise areas that much. I also want to develop more in Creativity & Aesthetics, since I am very interested in this expertise area. Because of my interest in psychology and human behaviour, I am also looking at electives outside of Industrial Design to learn more about this and to work towards my vision.
Bachelor year 4
In the fourth year of my bachelor, I want to do an internship to learn more about designing at a company and working with a variety of stakeholders. I think that working with a lot of stakeholders and doing large projects can teach me a lot.
